Possibly her father was  William Spencer who Frances Whitlock married 13 Feb 1822 Henrico Co., VA.  Frances the widow of William was living in Buckingham and is listed in the 1850 census as age 54.  Martha's step-son Archer T. Robertson was living with her. This land appears to have later belonged to Thomas and Martha's son Thomas J. S. Robertson. So what is the family connection? Frances would have been a second wife of William going by his age and the age of Martha (whose birth is calculated as 1815 which is seven years prior to the marriage of William and Frances) if she is indeed his daughter.

Thomas F. Wright [Parents] ¹ was born about 1820 in Buckingham Co., Va. He died 17 Mar 1873 in Buckingham Co., Va. Thomas married Susan W. Hardiman on 10 Dec 1842 in Charlotte Co., Va.

Is this possibly the mother of Thomas F. Wright and his brother and niece? What is the connection to the family of Nancy Robertson -- is she the mother-in-law of James or the sister of Elizabeth?
